Thanks!

Is it mapped?

Mine is mapped but has had new engine mounts, new dogbone mount, new complete oem clutch pack fitted early this year and in just under a year got worn out soo bad that when driving in first or 2nd gear, and the clutch bites, it jerks the whole car as if I was running a single mass flywheel with a racing clutch

The map itself is also very aggressi

As part of my final 100k service on the GTI having changed the cam chain, adjuster and tensioner last week...... I changed the primary and secondary Lambda sensors as they tend to slow with age if not come close to end of life.

Got BOSCH items from Opie Oils as they are the same as genuine ones (also made by BOSCH) but a lot cheaper at £110 for both.

Getting to that time in the service schedule...

What is the current going rate people are paying for the DSG service?

Any recommendations for specialists in the East Berkshire/West London area?

Hello everyone,

Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra - Thoughts on Its 4K Capabilities and Low-Light Performance?

I'#039m considering the Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra for a surveillance setup and wanted to know if anyone has firsthand experience with it. With its 4K resolution and enhanced low-light performance, it seems like a great choice for high-quality security foot

I’ve had new clutch flywheel slave cylinder and had it bled twice to make sure wasn’t just air some people say it’s my clutch. Master but some say hissing servo will cause it only drop like once every few days then is fine again get stuck like half way coming back up ?? Any help appreciate

Just to close this off for people.

It seems that the duty cycle (group 91, block 2) controls the oil flow in the solenoid to keep the timing in check

less than 50% retards timing
more than 50% advances
50% locks the timing without adjustment

So a good result for me here.

Oh that's good haha. I was planning on doing the wheel arches and as much of the floor as possible. Are the doors a problem area for rust?

Pcv valve . Misfire
Last Poster: oak_grun in How to Guides / Troubleshooting on October 27, 2024, 03:19:40 pm
Hi all,  ed30 has developed a misfire.
With car running, a disconnected pcv hose on inlet causes it to stall.
Does this point towards a knackered pcv valve?
Thanks

Glad to hear, thanks for both of your input.

Yeah I'#039ve heard that the solid dogbone ads a lot of NVH, that'#039s why I'#039ve put it as a last resort solution.

I'#039ve researched a bit about the B4s before doing this post and most conclusions came down to it being more comfortable than b8 since b8 is harder. But as a sports suspension, b8 is much better. One video c

Edition 30 Rear Valance -Pearl Black (Genuine Part)
£80.00
Location: Manchester
Collection Only

For Sale is my old Pearl Black Edition 30 rear valance. This clips into the upper section of your rear bumper.
This was removed from my golf due someone backing into me at low speed causing surface cracks. (they offered to pay for a new valance)

The surface cracks are around the the number plate area which I've tried to photo the best i can.

The exhaust surround has been bonded back on by the body shop after an encounter with a high kerb a few years ago.

There are storage scratches on the paintwork so will need respraying. You will also need a towing eye cover.

All clips to clip the valance upper bumper section are intact and there is no sign of warping.

This is a genuine valance and was fitted to my ED30 from the factory.
